Global Conflict Monitor
The conflicts and crises IAW keeps under monitoring, placed on the map at the country or main area of each case and differentiated by severity level.
Each point is a conflict covered by IAW, placed in its main country or area. Those under weekly monitoring carry a severity colour; the rest are analysed without continuous monitoring and appear in grey, with no index.

CSI
How we measure severity
The situations listed here are evaluated using the IAW Conflict Severity Index (CSI), a proprietary framework that measures escalation risk, civilian impact, and internationalization.
